Lexilia is designed to streamline the process of selecting legal advisors for a variety of transactional and advisory matters. Combining extensive subject matter expertise and a set of proprietary algorithms enhanced with artificial intelligence, Lexilia:
- enables its clients to conduct a preliminary scoping of the matter;
- generates a robust request for proposal based on the information provided by the client;
- based on the publicly available information, assesses the suitability of legal advisors for the task at hand and creates a short list of legal advisors which the client can use to request proposals; and
- analyses the proposals based on the factors relevant for the matter, taking into account the client’s preferences, compares such proposals, creates a list of action items that the client may use to improve or clarify any or all of the proposals, and assigns scores to each of the proposals to facilitate the client’s decision-making.
The founders of Lexilia are legal, finance and IT professionals with dozens of years of experience in legal and transactional matters. We have developed Lexilia to reduce the time spent by both clients and law firms in generating and analysing requests for proposal and pitches, to increase the transparency of the legal advisor selection process, and to eliminate, to the greatest extent possible, the bias inherent in that process.
